I recently visited Miriam with my daughter to look for a communion dress. She had so many beautiful dresses and my daughter tried many on.  We ended up purchasing one that we both loved. Miriam made my daughter feel so special and she loved every minute of it! There was no pressure to buy and she helped us choose accessories so all I have to get are the tights which takes the pressure off! Will be back for subsequent communions. I recently visited Darlingwear with my 8 year old to view communion dresses. Not only did they have a wonderful selection of dresses at very keen prices but we were also made very welcome Nothing was too much trouble for Miriam. My daughter tried on 13 dresses and Miriam was very helpful and most importantly not pushy or trying to make a sale. She made Shauna feel very special and our visit a wonderful occasion.   I could not recommend Darling wear enough. Darlingwear was recommended to me by a friend.  At first sceptical, these fears were quickly allayed after my recent visit.  I met Miriam, the proprietor, who I found to be very friendly and highly professional. I am happy to say, I dressed my daughter Jade out from head to toe in less than an hour, and found the whole experience very pleasurable. I would have no hesitation in passing on the good word about Darlingwear.

I would like to thank Miriam at Darlingwear for dressing my daughter Millie from head to toe for her Communion in Ballon in May. A beautiful little dress with veil, headband, shoes, tights and bag. Travelled to Darlingwear from West Cork on Saturday for a communion dress - I couldn't recommend it highly enough- it is well worth the visit. My daughter was delighted with the dress we picked and thrilled by the attention and help from Miriam. miriam was absolutely brilliant and didnt bat an eyelid when i asked for three dresses in one and was more than helpful in getting me just what i wanted.The laid back and relaxed atmosphere makes it a great experience for all.I have just gone back to buy my daughters communion dress which was just as fun

  • I found out about Darling Wear with less than 5 months to go before my wedding, 7 moths pregnant and trips to bridal shops all over the country. Meeting Miriam there was like meeting an angel. Needless to say I was starting to freak out a lillte that I hadn't found my dress yet and also that I couldn't really try anything on as I was huge. Miriam just put me completly at ease from the start saying not to worry, she's sort it all out. She hepled me pick what turned out to be a fab dress. She has such a good eye for what suits a particular shape and she was well able to judge it despite my pregnant shape. Miriam is so chilled out and you just feel like you are chatting with a friend from the moment you meet her. She left the final alterations to the last two weeks to allow for as much loss of pregnancy weight as possible. I highly recommend Darling Wear to all brides to be, you won't be dissapointed.

  • I got my four flowergirl dresses from Darling Wear. From the very first phone call to Miriam she was a "darling" to deal with. She has an excellent range and was just so helpful. Her idea's were great and with her help we picked two different types of flowergirl dresses for the four girls which really complimented my bridesmaids and more importantly my own dress. The dresses arrived in plenty of time and Miriam was very patient with me when I had to make a few adjustments because of some growing girls!! I would highly recommend Miriam to anyone getting married. She has a great range, not too expensive and is so easy to deal with.

  • Our three bridesmaid and two flowergirl dresses were beautiful-everybody commented on them. Miriam in Darlingwear was so professional and absolutely excellent in accomodating us and meeting our very varied needs; from choosing styles to suit all body shapes (including a pregnant bridesmaid!; to locating flowergirl dresses to match. The trip to Tullow was so worthwhile - I would highly recommend Darlingwear to anyone who is looking for high-quality, stylish and reasonably priced dresses.

  • I cannot recommend Darling Wear enough. Miriam is absolutely fantastic.. Really laid back and unbelievably helpful. She really tells you what suits you and what doesnt which is exactly what you need. I didnt end up buying my dress there but was very close as they stock dresses that I haven't seen anywhere else!

'Hassle free shopping!  Simply made appointment, met with a smile, measurements taken, picked the style with advise from Miriam and 6 weeks later returned to try on two absolutely splendid dresses. Comfortable fitting area, service with a smile and great attention to detail.
